Learn to skate isopen to boys and girls ages 4-10, living in the Massachusetts communities of Georgetown, Groveland, Haverhill, Merrimac, West Newbury and other surrounding Massachusetts towns.  Our program also serves the Southern New Hampshire towns of Salem, Atkinson, Hampstead, Plaistow, and Newton.  You’ll be taught by our USA Hockey certified GHPYH coaching staff.  Our coaching staff has satisfactory CORI reports (criminal background checks).

WHY?

You will learn to skate; skating is the stepping stone of hockey players.  We will also teach basic hockey skills.

WHEN / WHERE?

Session 1 begins on Saturday October 17th, 2020 at 11AM. This is a 10-week session, runs through December 19th.  Registration is only accepted online this year by clicking register on-line

Session 2 begins on Saturday January 9th, 2021 at 11AM. This is a 10-week session, runs through March 12th.  Registration is available online by clicking register on-line.

WHAT IF?

I can’t be there that day? You can start any Saturday. Attendance is NOT mandatory so it’s ok to miss one or more dates.

WHAT ELSE?

The cost is $100.00 per session (payable at the first skate). We have several ability levels. You will be placed in the proper level by our coaching staff.  GHPYH was founded in 2009 with the merger of Haverhill Youth Hockey and Pentucket Youth Hockey.  We strive to foster athletic development, good sportsmanship, confidence, self-esteem, discipline and teamwork through the sport of hockey.
